LAR ESPAÑA is a Spanish listed company established as a SOCIMI, "Sociedad Anónima Cotizada de Inversión en el Mercado Inmobiliario" (Listed Real Estate Investment Company), since March 5, 2014, making it a pioneer of this regime in our country. The company has been listed on the BME Scaleup segment since February 14, 2025. Lar España aims to invest in the Spanish real estate sector, specifically in the retail segment, and is a leader in this market with nearly 500.000 square meters of rental space and more than 1,3 billion euros in asset value. It has a diversified portfolio of 12 real estate assets, including 9 shopping centers and 3 retail parks. Lar España is owned by Helios RE, whose shareholders are Hines SC Propco 37 and Grupo Lar Retail Investments.
In 2024, Lar España was awarded the EPRA Gold Award for the tenth consecutive year for the quality of financial information made available to its main stakeholders. Regarding the information published on ESG, Lar España also received the highest distinction from EPRA, achieving the Gold Award for the seventh consecutive year.
LAR ESPAÑA seeks to maximize its potential thanks to the opportunities offered by the Spanish market and the financial and management capabilities of its partners. The company is externally managed by Grupo Lar, according to the Investment Management Agreement signed for this purpose by its partners. The Board of Directors of Lar España is composed of 5 members with recognized experience in the investment and real estate world. Of these, two are independent, two represent Hines, and one represents Grupo Lar.
