Instituto BME launches a new certification specialising in Artificial Intelligence

Instituto BME will launch the FIME (Financial Intelligence & Market Engineering) certification in January. This is an innovative programme developed by BME's training centre in collaboration with Brain & Code, which aims to train professionals in the advanced use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) applied to financial markets.

Throughout three levels of training, participants will learn from the fundamental concepts of AI to its practical application in the automation of processes and optimisation of strategies in the financial sphere. Inspired by prestigious certification models such as the CFA and FRM, the FIME certification offers comprehensive training with classes in Madrid in a hybrid format, combining theory and practice with the most advanced technological tools on the market.

This programme is designed to equip professionals with the necessary skills to face the current challenges of digitisation and the use of AI in financial markets, preparing them to make strategic decisions based on data and cutting-edge technology.

Enrique Castellanos, Director of Instituto BME, explains that ‘continuous training, which is always fundamental in financial markets, is now more essential than ever given the rise of Artificial Intelligence, which is transforming all sectors at an accelerated pace. The FIME certification offers a practical and specialised approach, allowing students to learn from the basics of AI to its advanced application in investment strategies and financial data analysis.

Instituto BME also offers a Master's degree in AI and quantum computing applied to financial markets (MIAX), which has an ambitious programme that focuses all the efforts and experience of the BME training centre to provide the market with professionals prepared to the highest level and ready to face the challenges that arise in their careers in a determined and creative way.

In the first nine months of the year, Instituto BME delivered 181 courses and 935 online training sessions, while the 100% online education platform Braindex had 18,000 unique visitors. In the last 33 years, Instituto BME has received more than 137,500 students and has collaboration agreements with institutions in Spain and Latin America. Its teaching staff are experts in market matters and have extensive teaching experience. Instituto BME's courses are aimed at market professionals, regulatory bodies, private investors, students and, in general, anyone interested in entering or deepening their knowledge of the world of finance.
