BME Institute and Brain and Code collaborate to boost training in Artificial Intelligence applied to financial markets

• The agreement includes the launch of the "Financial Intelligence for the Markets and Economics Certificate" program

BME Institute, the training center of BME, and Brain and Code, a company specialized in technology and Artificial Intelligence (AI), have signed a collaboration agreement to jointly develop and launch the "Financial Intelligence for the Markets and Economics Certificate" (FIME) program. This new certification, which will be launched in January, aims to train professionals in the advanced use of AI applied to financial markets.

As established by the collaboration agreement, this training program is aimed at both financial profiles who wish to acquire technical skills and technology professionals interested in applying their knowledge to the world of finance. Among others, it is aimed at fund managers, traders and brokers, financial and data analysts, financial consultants and advisors, and professionals with technical profiles such as engineers, mathematicians, physicists, and programmers.

The FIME certification, designed for professionals in the financial and technological sectors, is structured in three levels, with a practical and specialized approach that includes face-to-face classes, virtual content, and a final evaluation. The course will address innovative topics such as Generative Artificial Intelligence, cybersecurity, prompting engineering, and advanced applications in cloud computing. With a total duration of 180 hours, it will be offered both in person at the Madrid Stock Exchange Palace and in a virtual format, allowing broader access for professionals interested in this cutting-edge training.

For his part, Alex Rayón, general director of Brain and Code, emphasized: "This project combines the financial knowledge of BME Institute with our technological expertise to prepare professionals in a disruptive field such as artificial intelligence applied to financial markets."

BME Institute also offers the Master's in AI and Quantum Computing applied to financial markets (MIAX), which is more focused on programming, teaching how to apply different fields of Artificial Intelligence, while the FIME Certification is focused on generative AI within the framework of machine learning, in the category of generative models. Specifically, these models belong to a type of learning called unsupervised or self-supervised learning where programming knowledge is not necessary.

With this agreement with Brain and Code, BME Institute continues to strengthen its alliances within and outside Spain to promote financial education, both at BME's training center and at Braindex, BME's 100% online financial training platform. In 2024, BME Institute signed two other collaboration agreements with the Dominican Republic Stock Exchange and the Bolivian Catholic University San Pablo, in both cases, to work jointly in promoting quality financial education in Spain and Latin America.
