The different types of Guided Group Tours offered by the Barcelona Stock Exchange are set out below. Likewise, firm in our commitment to promote financial education, we keep open the possibility of carrying out the Online Premium Visit modality for this course:
Online Premium Visit
The purpose of the Online Premium Visit is to convey to the attendees the most important concepts of the financial markets and current affairs that surround them. This modality includes four interactive digital worksheets with exercises (available in Spanish and Catalan), which in turn are reinforced with three-minute informative videos that help students to internalize concepts and make them reflect that in a dynamic and interactive way.
In addition, the team of analysts from BME's Market Research Department will also hold a 1-hour online conference during which they will delve into the importance and functioning of financial markets, the importance of long-term savings and the current situation of the economy and financial markets.
The Online Premium Visit is aimed at groups of students (baccalaureate, intermediate or higher degree and university) interested in deepening and knowing in detail the main functions of the financial markets and the Stock Market.
Depending on the level and course of the attendees, the Visit will be personalized adapting to students of 2nd year of high school or higher grade, students of ESO, 1st of high school or university groups. Likewise, the interactive worksheets are also designed to suit the course of each group. For the 2nd year of high school, the Premium Visit will be oriented to concepts of the business economics subject included in the university entrance exams (PAU).
The cost of the Premium Online Visit is € 150 + VAT, regardless of the number of people who make up the group. The visit will be totally free for Maximum Complexity Centres (CMC).
This online modality will be carried out on Mondays and Fridays.
Premium Visit
The Premium Visit modality consists of a visit of between 60 and 90 minutes during which the most important concepts of the financial markets are detailed. Furthermore, this modality includes some interactive digital activities elaborated by the Market Research Department of BME in which a series of activities related to the financial markets, the stock indexes and companies are presented. The activities are available in Spanish and Catalan and sent to the person in charge of the group, together with the solutions of the exercises, before the day of the Visit so that the visitors can ask any questions regarding any concept surrounding financial markets.
The Premium Visits are focused on groups of students (high school, professional education or higher) interested in deepening and connecting in detail the main functions of the financial markets and the Stock Exchange.
Depending on the level and courses of the assistants, the Visit is personalized and adapted. At the same time, interactive activities are also designed to be adapted to the course of each group. During the 2nd year of higher school, the Premium Visit will be aimed at concepts of the business economics course included in the entrance exams to college (PAU).
The cost of the Premium Visit is € 200 + VAT, regardless of the number of people making up the group. However, the recommended maximum number of students per group is 50.
This online modality will be carried out on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Online Advanced Visit
The Advanced Online Visit modality is intended to deepen the knowledge about the financial markets of the attendees.
This type of visit consists of an online conference of about 75 minutes given by the team of analysts from BME's Market Research Department, who will discuss together with the attendees the macroeconomic situation at the national and global level, the functioning and the situation of the main financial markets in the current context and the main challenges and trends that will mark the coming decades, among other issues.
This Online Advanced Visit modality is focused on groups of university students or any group of people with established basic financial knowledge and who are interested in knowing in greater depth the national and international financial markets.
The cost of the Online Advanced Visit is € 200 + VAT, regardless of the number of people who make up the group.
This online modality will be carried out on Mondays and Fridays.
Advanced Visit
The Advanced Visits have a duration of 75-120 minutes and aim to allow attendees to deepen their knowledge of the stock market.
For all this, several topics are discussed during the visit: Microeconomic and macroeconomic analysis; the importance of macroeconomic data and its impact on financial markets (equity, fixed income, money market, currencies, derivatives,…); fundamental analysis versus technical analysis; the functioning of the market (opening, closing and volatility auctions); type of operations; structure of the Spanish stock market and its characteristics; monetary policy and fiscal policy.
This type of Advanced Visit is aimed at groups of university students or any group of people with basic financial knowledge acquired and who are interested in learning more about national and international financial markets.
Before the visit, the group will be given the MacroTrends report, a quarterly report elaborated by the BME Market Research Department. This report describes and analyses the current situation of the economy and global financial markets.
The following are the rates for the Advanced Visit, which vary depending on the number of attendees:

Group up to 30 people 350 + VAT
Group up to 40 people 400 + VAT
Group up to 50 people 450 + VAT
Group of more than 50 people 475 + VAT
