Mediaset España Comunicación, S.A., formerly Gestevisión Telecinco S.A., was incorporated in Madrid on 10 March 1989 and its registered office is located at Carretera de Fuencarral a Alcobendas, nº 4, 28049 Madrid.
Its main line of business is the sale of advertising slots in the television channels which it operates (Telecinco, Cuatro, LaSiete, Factoría de Ficción, Boing, Divinity and Energy) and in the Internet, to develop them commercially through Publiespaña, Publimedia Gestión and the Commercial area.
In addition, the company has various shares in companies in the audiovisual sector, mainly in Spain, as well as in other countries. These shares allow it to position itself and have contact with all areas related to their main business.
Until March 2004, Telecinco and Publiespaña had the same shareholding structure. In March 2004 Publiespaña was merged by an in kind capital increase in Telecinco.
In December 2010, the Group carried out two capital increases of 73,401,870 and 86,817,700 new ordinary shares, giving a fully subscribed capital of Mediaset España of 203,430,713 euros, represented by 406,861,426 shares, each of a par value of 0.50 euros.
Shares in Mediaset España are listed in the Madrid, Barcelona and Valencia Stock Exchanges and included in the Spanish Automated Quotation System (SIBE or Mercado Continuo) since Telecinco's flotation on June 24th 2004.
