BME considers learning, professional development, and recognition of our employees to be particularly relevant for attracting and retaining talent. Some of the measures to achieve this include:

a) Professional promotion and compensation policy
The professional development of our employees offers an opportunity to retain talent. Attractive salary conditions with significant social benefits make BME a quality employer. However, the salary is not everything. Some of the other efforts include offering scholarships and grants for children’s studies, personal loans, and benefits for disabled employees.

b) Employee training and talent development
Our training plans at BME are renewed annually and aligned with business objectives; the needs are identified via the SIX Academy and always in close partnership with the BME Institute. Ensuring health and safety in the workplace is paramount. BME has implemented health, safety, and prevention measures at all of our centers, which are supervised by various expert committees.

Is the flu season coming? we promotes vaccination campaigns, as well as physical therapy services, first aid kits, a nursing service in Las Rozas, and medical assistance insurance for our employees and their families, with special attention given to mental health.

To strengthen the culture of good health, we offer continuous health and safety training courses and information campaigns.

BME facilitates channels for dialog between the company and our employees, through union representative bodies and technical committees with the aim only of facilitating collective bargaining but also of resolving potential conflicts.

On the other side, BME seeks to convey our sustainability commitment to our supply chain. It does so by promoting best practices, evaluating suppliers, and incorporating sustainability clauses into contracts. The objective: for our suppliers to comply with various quality standards, to act with integrity in their business dealings, and to comply with the regulations governing their activity. One way that BME monitors this is through the procedure for controlling goods and the provision of services and for supplier selection and evaluation.
