The 15 winners of the Madrid edition of the Olympiad also received a Braindex course from Instituto BME to complete their training in financial markets. Braindex is the financial training platform accredited by the Stock Exchange, with expert teachers and an exclusive community dedicated to creating financial talent, i.e. acquiring the knowledge that students need to become future professionals in the sector.

The winners will participate in the national phase, which will be held at the University of La Rioja from June 19 to 21 and will be attended by 135 high school students from the 44 participating public universities in Spain.

The Spanish Economics Olympiad is an academic and educational competition whose objectives are to stimulate the study of Economics and Business among young people, reward effort and academic excellence, and establish stable links between university education and other levels of education.

For more than 15 years it has served as a meeting point between universities, secondary schools, high school economics teachers and students interested in economics and business, who will be the future students of these faculties, trying to establish stable links between all of them.

BME would like to congratulate not only the participating students, but also the high school and university teachers who, year after year, prepare, accompany, support and encourage the participants.
