The event will take place on March 7 at 8:30 a.m. at the Palacio de la Bolsa de Madrid. It will be led by Paula Conthe, Secretary General of the Treasury and International Finance, Paloma Marín, Vice President of the CNMV, and Cristina Sánchez, Executive Director of the UN Global Compact Spain, accompanied by Juan Flames, CEO of BME.

The aim of this initiative, aligned with Sustainable Development Goal 5 of the UN 2030 Agenda, is to highlight among the financial community that gender equality has a positive impact on society and also on the economy and growth.

The event is part of the initiative promoted by UN Global Compact, WFE, SSE, IFC and UN Women, which this year has the theme "Ring the Bell for ALL Women and Girls: Rights. Equality. Empowerment.”
