Sustainable Stock Exchanges

BME is part of several national and international initiatives in the field of sustainability. Since 2015 it has taken part in the Sustainable Stock Exchanges initiative, which aims to raise awareness of best corporate governance and social and corporate responsibility practices and to foster sustainable business practices.

BME encourages the issuers of securities and the new companies listed on the markets and systems managed by BME to report non-financial environmental, social and corporate governance information in their periodic reports.
