BME is committed to the community. Our patronage and sponsorship activities and volunteer actions such as Social Days are a good example of this.
Our Sponsorship and Patronage Activity
BME has a historical commitment to local progress, especially in the field of culture and social action. We are a member of the Friends of the Prado Museum Foundation and of the National Archaeological Museum, as well as being a trustee of the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, among others.
We also participates in the “Light for ALS” initiative, which every July 21 lights up the Madrid Stock Exchange in green, as part of its support for the Luzón Foundation to give visibility to this disease.
Social Days
At BME we offer to our employees the opportunity to participate in corporate volunteer activities throughout the year. During the “Social Days,” BME and our employees contribute to and collaborate with third sector organizations in their local area with different institutions and foundations, such as food banks in Madrid and Barcelona, the Prodis Foundation or Cáritas, with which a stable commitment and a long-term relationship is established.
